About Us
Steel Valley Container Structures, LLC (SVCS), a family-owned business based in the Youngstown, OH area (aka “Steel Valley”), leverages over 40 years of steel fabrication expertise and a passion for home renovations to deliver innovative, affordable housing solutions.
We’re expanding into the single-family home and ADU market, building on our roots in creating accessible housing for those in need. Our journey began by serving our local community, designing and constructing housing for homeless veterans. A standout project is a 5,400 sq ft facility, developed with Community Services and MXA Architecture, comfortably housing 14 veterans—each with a private bedroom and bathroom—using a blend of containers and traditional construction methods.
As public interest in affordable housing grows and supply struggles to meet demand, we’ve embraced a responsibility to do more. Now, we’re applying our expertise to craft sustainable, code-compliant single-family homes, helping everyday homeowners find cost-efficient living solutions.
